Therefore, it doesn’t matter if you have gotten your crossdressing ability down to an art or if you are still a beginner trying to figure things out. You need to be aware of certain things to stay safe when crossdressing in public.

The world we live in requires men to approach women and flirt with them in an attempt to woo them. You need to be careful when you are on the receiving end of this type of attention. Most men won’t be a problem. It won’t matter if you reject their advances or if they realize you are a crossdresser and decide not to pursue. Most interactions will result in the man moving on, leaving you to enjoy the rest of your time.

However, there will always be that one person, or even a group of men. Who either won’t take rejection well or won’t like that you are a crossdresser. Your job won’t be to figure out what went wrong; your job is to worry about your health and safety.

With that being said, we have a few tips for you to follow to make sure you stay safe when crossdressing in public.

Stay current with modern fashion

It’s important that you stay in tune with the current trends of woman’s fashion. It doesn’t take too much time to scroll through Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to see what the woman and experienced crossdressers are wearing today.

Staying ahead or behind current times in terms of fashion can prove to be unsafe when you are crossdressing. As that makes you stand out from the woman of today. Drawing attention is the last thing to want to do if you are in a situation where you might be in physical danger.

So, blend in, dress well and enjoy yourself safely.

Do not walk alone, especially at night

A woman by herself is the perfect target for men with ii-intentions. Regular men are mostly clueless about their surroundings and are usually focused on the task at hand. On the other hand, Creeps are constantly on the lookout for an easy victim and only pretend to look busy.

Since these kinds of men tend to operate alone, the best deterrent is to always be in a group of friends that you can trust when walking out in public. Have you ever noticed that women tend to go to the restroom in pairs or groups? They are looking out for each other to protect themselves and their friends from unwanted attention.

As a biological man, you may not be as afraid since you are physically more capable than the average woman. However, to avoid worst-case scenarios, it is best that you always be around good and trustworthy company that will always have your back. If you are in a situation where being alone is unavoidable, we highly recommend you stick to crowded roads and places. Creeps prefer to approach women in isolation.

Choose to go out during the day

The phrase ‘Nothing good happens at night’ holds very true for women and crossdressers. To stay safe when crossdressing in public, we highly advise that you choose daylight hours to step outside. A large number of women are harassed and targeted at night as these men use the cover of night to hide from public eyes.

This doesn’t mean we want you to never enjoy a girls’ night out. You can do so if you have a group of trustworthy friends, as we mentioned above. We simply mean that you should try and keep the majority of your crossdressing events and activities to the daytime. You will have more stores to walk into if you feel uncomfortable, and it is much easier to spot potentially troublesome people around you.

Be careful who you make eye contact with

This may sound like common sense to you because you don’t go around staring into people’s eyes. What you may not account for is when you notice someone staring at you. Whether they find you attractive or if they are too close-minded to understand the world of crossdressing, people will stare at you for different reasons.

If you do notice this, do not react and try and confront them. This only brings more unwanted attention to you, putting you in a situation where you have no control of the outcome. This is not a position you want to be in. Stay focused on where you are heading and avoid the urge to look back at anyone.

Ignore the haters

Last but not least, ignore the damn haters!

We wish we could tell you that the world is a friendly and open-minded place where people choose to understand differences in opinion before passing judgment, but that would be a straight-up lie. People get misjudged for the clothes they wear, the colour of their skin, the food they eat, the people they hang out with, the interests they have, plus a whole list of other things that are different from the societal norm.

What we can tell you is these people are wrong. They are wrong to misjudge you based on the way you dress and your difference in interests. You can take pride in this fact and know from the bottom of your heart that you are right, and they are wrong.

Ignore everyone that doesn’t support you and enjoy your life because we only get one.
